The Cary Library and LexFUN! welcome illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser, of the 'Fancy Nancy” series, for a very special event!

She’ll be talking about the Fancy Nancy series, her new book Lambslide with author Ann Patchett, and anything else that tickles her 'fancy'. :)

Children are encouraged to dress in their fanciest of fancy outfits and we'll have a fashion parade with Robin as the Master of Ceremonies. And, that's just the icing on the cake - we'll have lots of fun activities planned.

A variety of Robin's books will be available for purchase and signing, provided by Porter Square Books. A percentage of the proceeds from book sales support the Friends of the Cary Library! Robin is happy to sign one book per child from home.

About Robin:
Robin Preiss Glasser, a former professional ballet dancer, has illustrated more than fifty children's picture books, including the New York Times bestselling FANCY NANCY series, written by Jane O'Connor. Robin lives in San Juan Capistrano, California, with her husband, Bob. She has two grown children, Sasha and Ben.
